Tesla is making a $1500… surfboard?

Tesla just isn’t any stranger to branded merch. Its bought the fashioned company swag — the hats, the shirts, and the mugs. It’s bought quirkier stuff, love diminutive Teslas for adolescents and USB chargers formed love the Superchargers that juice up their vehicles. And now they’ve bought… surfboards? While it’s now long past for some reason, a product page went dwell in its store early this morning detailing a $1500 Tesla-branded board (we’ve requested Tesla for insight, but it sounds love they sold out.) Electrek caught the outline before the page vanished: “Designed by the Tesla Develop Studio in collaboration with Misplaced Surfboards and Matt “Mayhem” Biolos, surfboard shaper for World Surf League Championship athletes. The Restricted Model Tesla Surfboard aspects a combination of the same high quality matte and gloss finishes used on all our cars. At $1500 before tax, the board is… without a doubt on the bigger end of the surfboard pricing scale. A solid board from a company love JS or Ripcurl would designate you around $750.
